Château Trotte Vieille is a renowned wine estate located in the Saint-Émilion appellation on the right bank of the Bordeaux region in France. Classified as a Grand Cru Classé, the estate enjoys a solid reputation for producing red wines of great quality and elegance.
The vines at Château Trotte Vieille are planted on clay-limestone soils, ideal for the main grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The meticulous blending of these grape varieties helps to create well-balanced, complex wines.
The wines of Château Trotte Vieille are characterised by their aromatic depth, with black fruit, cherry, liquorice and spicy notes. On the palate, they offer a silky texture, well-integrated tannins and a long finish. Ageing in oak barrels adds subtle hints of vanilla and oak.
