Perrier-Jouët: two centuries of exported expertise

The Perrier-Jouët estate now has over 200 years' experience. With 65 hectares, 40 of which are planted with Chardonnay and the rest with Pinot, this Champagne estate was founded in 1811. More than two centuries later, Perrier-Jouët champagnes are among the best known in the world, particularly for their Grands Crus, with almost all the production in this category (Cramant and Avize). But for this company, whose emblem is a white anemone and golden roses, certain names stand out.

This is particularly true of the Belle Epoque cuvée, which stands out for its generosity and intensity. Belle Epoque is the figurehead of the Perrier-Jouët range. It is also known as 'Fleur de Champagne'. We should also mention Blason Doré, with its fruity, gourmand notes. It is difficult to give guidelines for this estate, as the variety of flavours and blends are particularly important. Perrier-Jouët has an 1825 vintage, the oldest in Champagne. Lastly, production remains modest, but prices remain affordable.
