Château La Mondotte

Château La Mondotte is a wine estate located in the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. The vineyard at Château La Mondotte covers a small area, but is planted with vines over 50 years old, mainly Merlot. The vines benefit from an exceptional terroir of clay-limestone soils, which give the grapes great richness and ripeness. Vinification at Château La Mondotte is meticulous, with manual harvesting and particular attention to grape selection. The wine is then matured in new French oak barrels, where it develops its complexity and structure. Château La Mondotte wines are renowned for their intensity, depth and capacity for ageing. They have aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant and well-integrated woody notes. Château La Mondotte is one of the most sought-after estates in Saint-Émilion, and its wines are considered real treasures for Bordeaux wine lovers.
