History of Maison Pommery

Maison Pommery was founded in 1836 by Jean Antoine Pommery and his wife Marie-Louise Pommery in Reims, in the Montagne de Reims region of France. Jean Antoine initially produced still wine before turning to champagne. After her husband's death, Marie-Louise took over the management of the house and played a key role in its development, transforming it into a world-renowned champagne house.
