Armagnac
Armagnac, the treasure of south-western France, is a brandy steeped in history and tradition. Distilled in the Gascony region, this spirit rivals cognac for the title of oldest French brandy. Made from grape varieties such as Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard and Folle Blanche, Armagnac ages slowly in oak barrels, developing rich, complex aromas.
The three main Armagnac appellations, Bas-Armagnac, Haut-Armagnac and Armagnac-Ténarèze, each bring their own unique touch. Notes of plum, vanilla and hazelnut often characterize this spirit, offering a delicate and captivating experience for connoisseurs of high-end products.
