Les Forts de Latour is the second wine produced by the prestigious Château Latour, one of the most renowned wine estates in Bordeaux, France. Château Latour is classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé in the official Bordeaux wine classification of 1855, making it one of the region's most prestigious estates.Les Forts de Latour is considered the "second wine" of Château Latour, meaning that it is produced from grapes grown in the same vineyards as the château's main wine, but generally from younger or less prestigious vineyards

Les Forts de Latour wines are mainly reds made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. They are made with meticulous attention to detail, although the maturation in French oak barrels and the aging period may be shorter than for Château Latour's main wine. Although Les Forts de Latour are considered the "second wine," they are nonetheless high quality wines. They offer a rich, complex taste experience, characterized by aromas of black fruit, cassis, wood and spice, as well as a well-balanced tannic structure.
