Château La Mondotte

Château La Mondotte is a vineyard located in the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. The Château La Mondotte vineyard covers a small area, but is planted with vines over 50 years old, mainly Merlot. The vines benefit from an exceptional terroir, composed of clay-limestone soils, which give the grapes great richness and ripeness. Vinification at Château La Mondotte is meticulous, with manual harvesting and particular attention to grape selection. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels, where it develops its complexity and structure. Château La Mondotte wines are renowned for their intensity, depth and ageing potential. They present aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant and well-integrated woody notes. Château La Mondotte is one of Saint-Émilion's most prized estates, and its wines are considered real treasures for Bordeaux wine lovers.
