One of the most famous Burgundy wines is the Méo-Camuzet estate, a worthy representative of a terroir and know-how. Méo-Camuzet wines are part of the Côtes-de-Nuit vineyard, and are a must for all lovers of fine wines. That said, it's important to remember that production is always pre-sold, as it's impossible to buy a bottle of Méo-Camuzet at the estate. With strong demand, even on a global scale, it's best not to hesitate too long before buying. Even so, 70,000 wines are produced each year, enough to satisfy a large number of gourmets.
With over 17 hectares of vines, Méo-Camuzet wines are primarily reds, although they also include a significant proportion of whites (nearly 4 hectares of Chardonnay). Production is concentrated around internationally renowned appellations such as Corton, Les Perrières, Vosne-Romanée and Richebourg. Before tasting, the owner reminds you that it is not necessary to decant the wine. However, you should allow between 5 and 7 years for your bottle of Méo-Camuzet to mature to its full potential.
Domaine Méo-Camuzet is a renowned producer of Pinot Noir in the Côte d'Or region of France. The estate is located in the famous Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée regions, with Pinot Noir vines in prestigious vintages. Their reds are regarded as some of the best Pinot Noir in the Côtes de Nuits region, and their Fixin wines are also very popular.
