Domaine Pierre Boisson Auxey-Duresses Rouge 1er Cru 2020 is a red Burgundy wine from the Auxey-Duresses appellation, made from 100% Pinot Noir. This cuvée blends two premier cru plots, Les Bréterins and Reugne, whose vines average around 40 years of age. Following cold pre-fermentation maceration and stainless steel tank fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, with 20% new wood, then bottled without fining or filtration.

Domaine Pierre Boisson
Domaine Pierre Boisson is a wine estate based in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, and run by Pierre Boisson. A descendant of the family formerly known as Boisson-Vadot, he cultivates 3.5 hectares of vines under his own name. The wines are sourced primarily from plots located in Meursault and the neighbouring appellations of the Côte de Beaune.

Histoire du domaine
The estate’s recent history is linked to that of Bernard Boisson, father of Pierre and Anne Boisson. According to Bernard Boisson, his ancestors settled in Meursault in the 19th century and the family initially possessed only a limited wine-growing estate. Bernard Boisson produced his first vintages in 1978. Following his marriage in 1980, the estate took the name Boisson-Vadot. He then chose to bottle the wines rather than sell the produce in bulk to wine merchants. Pierre Boisson began marketing wines under his own name in 2004, and his sister Anne launched her own label in 2008. The harvest is still carried out jointly by the family, whilst each member manages their own winemaking process. Pierre Boisson is now the manager of EARL Domaine Pierre Boisson, established in 2021 and based in Meursault.
