Quintarelli Recioto Della Valpollicila 1983 Bouteille (75cl) ETLA
The 1983 Quintarelli Recioto della Valpolicella is an Italian red wine from Veneto crafted by Giuseppe Quintarelli. Its blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina, Corvinone, Croatina, Nebbiolo, Rondinella, and Sangiovese. It follows the traditional Recioto della Valpolicella style, derived from dried grapes to concentrate the sugars, then vinified with a halted fermentation that preserves a sweet and structured expression. This method sets Recioto apart among the historic wines of Valpolicella.

The estate, based in Cerè, is now run by Fiorenza Quintarelli, daughter of Giuseppe ‘Bepi’ Quintarelli, alongside her sons Francesco and Lorenzo. Histoire du domaine
The history of the estate dates back to the early 20th century, when Silvio Quintarelli worked the vineyards at Figari, in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella, alongside his brothers. In 1924, the family moved to Cerè in the Negrar Valley, where they continued their wine-growing business. In the 1950s, Giuseppe Quintarelli, known as ‘Bepi’, Silvio’s youngest son, took over the management of the estate. He then expanded the vineyard and the winery, whilst continuing to produce wine based on the traditional grape varieties and practices of Valpolicella. Giuseppe Quintarelli ran the estate until his death in 2012. The estate was then taken over by his daughter, Fiorenza Quintarelli. She now runs it alongside her sons, Francesco and Lorenzo. Winemaking is currently overseen by oenologist Dennis Borchia.
