Esprit Leflaive Savigny les Beaune Rouge Les Jarrons 1er Cru 2020 Bouteille (75cl)
Esprit Leflaive Savigny-lès-Beaune Rouge Les Jarrons 1er Cru 2020 is a red Burgundy wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, produced in the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation. This plot-selection cuvée comes from the Premier Cru climat Les Jarrons, covering a surface area of 0.60 hectares planted in 1940 on chalky and sandy soils. The grapes are hand-harvested; the vinification combines a proportion of whole clusters with a long maceration in wooden vats. Aging continues for 15 months in oak barrels, of which 25% are new wood, followed by 3 months in stainless steel vats.

Esprit Leflaive
Esprit Leflaive is the négociant activity created by Domaine Leflaive to craft wines from Burgundian terroirs located beyond its historical vineyard. The grapes come from partnerships with selected winegrowers and are harvested by the estate's teams, then vinified in Puligny-Montrachet. The collection brings together chardonnay and pinot noir in cuvées with intentionally limited production.

Histoire du domaine
Esprit Leflaive was born from a project led by Brice de La Morandière, manager of Domaine Leflaive since 2015, and Pierre Vincent, who joined the estate's management in 2017. The collection was inaugurated with the 2018 vintage to explore other terroirs of Burgundy, from the Chablisien to the Côte de Nuits, complementing the historical locations of Puligny-Montrachet and the Mâconnais. Its launch included eight cuvées, including several pinot noir red wines, a new direction for the maison. Esprit Leflaive relies on partnerships with chosen vinegrowers, often owners of old vines; the Leflaive teams participate notably in the harvest and the wines are crafted in the facilities of Puligny-Montrachet. Since January 2025, the technical direction of all Leflaive wine families, both estate-owned and négociant, has been overseen by Amandine Brillanceau. Louis Brière, who joined Domaine Leflaive in January 2008, is currently cellar master in Puligny-Montrachet and watches over the wines on a daily basis.
Les Jarrons
Les Jarrons is an officially classified Premier Cru climat of the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation, located in the commune of the same name. The product specification states that this designation corresponds to a portion of the cadastral lieu-dit Les Jarrons, another part of which may fall under the La Dominode climat. A data sheet from Domaine Bruno Clair describes its own vines in this climat as having an east to northeast exposure, at an altitude of approximately 250 meters, and on clay-limestone soil; however, this plot-specific data is not generalized here to the entire climat.
