Histoire du domaine
The estate's history is rooted in the Michelot family, coopers in Meursault before turning to viticulture in the 19th century. After the Second World War, Bernard Michelot, born in 1926, joined his father Alfred in the vineyards and then married Lucie Buisson in 1949. The couple expanded the property, introduced estate bottling in the 1950s, and gradually grew the family vineyard to 19 hectares. In 1998, Bernard and Lucie Michelot divided the estate among their three daughters. Geneviève Michelot and her daughter Véronique Bonin then pooled their seven-hectare share under the name Michelot Mère et Fille. Véronique Bonin and Nicolas Bernard subsequently took over this operation, which became Domaine Bernard-Bonin and produced its first vintage in 1999. The couple quickly initiated an organic conversion, officially certified in 2015, and began experimenting with biodynamic practices in 2007. In 2021, the acquisition of plots originating from Chantal, Véronique's aunt, brought the estate's surface area to nine hectares.
Limozin
Le Limozin is a lieu-dit in the Meursault appellation, located south of the village, at the start and middle of the slope. It adjoins several sectors classified as Premier Cru, notably Charmes, Genevrières, and Porusot, while remaining officially classified at the Village level. Sources describe a well-drained, clay-limestone or silty soil, featuring Jurassic limestone scree, with an orientation ranging from east to southeast.

Histoire de la parcelle
A spring at the foot of the slope once fed a nearby washhouse, used by the inhabitants of Meursault until the interwar period. The 1861 wine classification already mentioned "le Limosin", distributed according to the plots between second and third classes. However, the site was not selected among the climats officially classified as Premier Cru when the AOC Meursault was established.
