Histoire du domaine
The Pinard family has been established in Bué for over twenty generations. At the beginning of the 20th century, Armand Pinard practiced mixed farming and cultivated about three hectares of vines, alongside a small production of Crottin de Chavignol cheese. His son Charles took over the farm in 1945, when, devastated at the end of the Second World War, it no longer had any winemaking equipment. He revived the activity and notably shipped wine in barrels to Paris in the early 1960s. Vincent Pinard succeeded his father in the early 1970s and gradually expanded the vineyard through the leasing or acquisition of family land: the estate reached 12 hectares in the 1980s, then 15 hectares in the 2000s. The next generation, represented by his sons Florent and Clément Pinard, now manages the estate, which spans 17 hectares. La Revue du vin de France indicates organic certification was obtained in 2024.
