Suenen
Located in Cramant, Champagne Suenen is a family estate managed by Aurélien Suenen since 2009. Its five hectares are spread across the grands crus of Cramant, Chouilly, and Oiry in the Côte des Blancs, as well as the Massif de Saint-Thierry. The estate notably crafts single-plot Blanc de Blancs, including La Cocluette and Les Robarts, as well as La Grande Vigne, made from Meunier in Montigny-sur-Vesle.

Histoire du domaine
The Suenen family has been established in Champagne for five generations: its winegrowing roots date back to 1898, while the founding of the estate is generally dated to 1905. After the Second World War, Bernard Suenen developed estate-bottling. His son Daniel expanded the vineyard, progressively increasing sales from around 4,000 to 20,000 bottles, and created the family's first vintage champagnes. When Daniel fell ill in 2008, Aurélien Suenen took on more responsibilities, then assumed management of the estate following his father's passing in 2009. He then restructured the range and the vineyard, discontinued the use of herbicides and insecticides starting in 2012, and deepened parcel-by-parcel vinification. Les Robarts, in Cramant, was isolated starting from the 2012 harvest; La Cocluette in Oiry, Le Mont-Aigu in Chouilly, and La Grande Vigne in Montigny-sur-Vesle followed with the 2013 vintage.
La Grande Vigne
Single-plot Champagne crafted exclusively from Pinot Meunier originating from La Grande Vigne in Montigny-sur-Vesle, within the Massif de Saint-Thierry. This vintage cuvée is distinguished by its old ungrafted vines planted on sandy soils and by vinification in oak barrels followed by a long ageing on lees in the bottle.

Histoire de la cuvée
La Grande Vigne has been vinified separately starting from the 2013 harvest, as part of the development of Aurélien Suenen's single-plot Champagnes. While parting with most of the family vines located far from Cramant, the producer kept this unique plot of Meunier in Montigny-sur-Vesle.
