Domaine Tollot Beaut Corton Bressandes 2018 Bouteille (75cl)
The 2018 Domaine Tollot-Beaut Corton Bressandes is a red Burgundy wine produced in Aloxe-Corton, made from 100% Pinot Noir and classified as a Burgundy Grand Cru. This cuvée comes from the Corton-Bressandes climat, where the estate's vines are spread across two parcels totaling one hectare. With an eastern exposure and a high limestone content, this climat defines the precise origin of this great wine from the Corton hill.

Histoire du domaine
The origins of Domaine Tollot-Beaut date back to the late 19th century, when François Tollot planted vines in Chorey-lès-Beaune. His son, Alexandre Tollot, took over the estate and married Aurélie Beaut, whose name was added to that of the Tollots in the estate’s name. In 1921, the estate began bottling its wines under its own name, at a time when this practice was still uncommon in the Côte-d’Or. It is also one of the Burgundian producers that began exporting to the United States at an early stage. Initially centred on Chorey-lès-Beaune, the vineyard has gradually expanded through the acquisition of plots in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune. The estate now cultivates around 24 hectares spread across these four communes. The fifth generation of the family is represented by cousins Nathalie, Jean-Paul and Olivier Tollot, who run the estate. Jean-Paul Tollot is responsible for winemaking.
Corton Bressandes

Histoire de la parcelle
Les Bressandes was classified as a "Première Cuvée" by Jules Lavalle in 1855, and then by the Beaune Committee of Agriculture and Viticulture in 1860. The climat is identified in the cadastral parcel map of Aloxe-Corton presented in the application file for the inscription of the Climats of the Burgundy vineyard as a World Heritage site. It is now legally recognized as a geographical denomination associated with red Corton Grand Cru.
