The Domaine de Villaine Rully Saint-Jacques 2020 is a white village Burgundy wine produced in the Rully appellation from Chardonnay. Coming from the Saint-Jacques parcel, this wine originates from a vineyard planted in 1990 at the foot of an east-facing slope, just below the Clos Saint-Jacques. The vines consist of Côte-d'Or Chardonnay selections chosen for their moderate yields. In 2020, the harvest was limited to three or four bunches per vine, and vinification took place mainly in old oak foudres. The usual work for this cuvée also includes lees aging, mostly in foudres and three-year-old barrels.
