Rémy Martin
Founded in 1724, Maison Rémy Martin crafts eaux-de-vie in Cognac originating exclusively from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, united under the Cognac Fine Champagne appellation. It owns 238 hectares of vineyards eligible for the Cognac appellation, but its supply relies primarily on long-term partnerships with winegrowers of the Alliance Fine Champagne. Baptiste Loiseau has overseen the continuity of the House's style and the blending of its cognacs since 2014.

Histoire du domaine
In 1724, Rémy Martin, a young winegrower from the Cognac region, began marketing cognac under his own name. In 1738, Louis XV granted him the privilege of planting new vines. Paul-Émile Rémy Martin, the fourth member of the family to head the House, expanded its exports to the United States, Asia, and the Pacific in the 19th century, adopting the Centaur as its emblem in 1870. André Renaud partnered with Paul-Émile Rémy Martin II in 1910, acquired E. Rémy Martin & Cie in 1924, and launched the VSOP Cognac Fine Champagne in 1927. In 1948, he decided to reserve the House's production exclusively for eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. His son-in-law André Hériard Dubreuil succeeded him in 1965 and established the partnership with winegrowers in 1966 that became the Alliance Fine Champagne. In 1990, Rémy Martin shares were contributed to Cointreau & Cie; the group adopted the name Rémy Cointreau in 1991. Pierrette Trichet became the first female cellar master of a major cognac house in 2003, creating notable blends such as Centaure and Centaure de Diamant. She passed on the responsibility of the cellar in 2014 to Baptiste Loiseau, who joined the House in 2007. Today, Rémy Martin belongs to the family-owned Rémy Cointreau group, controlled by the holding company Andromède.
