Histoire du domaine
The Lamy family has been established in the Saint-Aubin vineyards since 1640. Hubert Lamy founded the estate under his own name in 1973. In the 1990s, the estate expanded through the purchase, lease and planting of new plots. Some of the vines were then replanted with Chardonnay in areas considered more favourable to this grape variety. Olivier Lamy joined the family estate in 1995, after studying oenology and gaining experience at other estates. He now runs the estate with his wife Karine, who is responsible for management, marketing and accounts. The vineyard now covers 18.5 hectares, mainly in Saint-Aubin, with plots also located in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. Olivier Lamy oversees the vineyard work and winemaking, with each plot being vinified and then matured separately. Both the white and red wines are bottled after 24 months’ ageing, depending on the estate’s website.
Les Murgers des Dents de Chien [Blanc]
Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is a climat officially classified as Premier Cru of the Saint-Aubin appellation, located on the southern heights of the commune, bordering the Puligny-Montrachet vineyard and above the Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet grands crus. Its hillside, facing south to south-east, is characterized by shallow and very stony terrain where the limestone bedrock can outcrop. References dedicated to the climat point out silts on limestone formations, locally marly, attributed to the Bathonian.

Histoire de la parcelle
The Saint-Aubin appellation was recognized in 1937. The specifications state that a list of climats authorized to benefit from the Premier Cru designation was established in 1943 from renowned crus, notably those already distinguished by the 1860 wine classification; Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is included today in the regulatory list of Premier Cru climats.
