Les Poëte is the wine estate of Guillaume Sorbe, located in Preuilly, in the Cher department, across the terroirs of Quincy and Reuilly. Its 6.45 hectares of vineyards are planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris, farmed with close attention to natural balances and harvested by hand. The Odyssée cuvée, made from Pinot Noir, belongs to a range now widely presented as Vin de France.

Histoire du domaine
Coming from a winemaking family, Guillaume Sorbe initially trained and worked in culinary arts, sommelier services, and wine trade before returning to viticulture. La Revue du vin de France notes that as early as 2001 he selected and planted terroirs with Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris; his personal project truly took shape starting in February 2007, following searches for plots around Saint-Aignan and the Cher valley. The first bottles bearing the Les Poëte label were produced in 2011. The estate's name comes from the maiden name of Esther Poëte, Guillaume Sorbe's paternal great-grandmother and wife of Auguste Sorbe. The sheep featured on the labels refers to another family tradition: his father and grandfather raised them, a practice that Guillaume Sorbe has maintained within the estate's agricultural ecosystem. As owner and winemaker, he manages a fragmented vineyard across the Quincy and Reuilly sectors and favors minimal intervention in the cellar, with long aging periods and natural wine stabilization.
