Histoire du domaine
The family’s history is intertwined with that of the Ramonet estate, founded in Chassagne-Montrachet by Pierre Ramonet in the late 1920s. His son André subsequently took over the family estate, before his sons Noël and Jean-Claude became involved from 1984 onwards. Following André’s death in 2011, the two brothers took over the running of the historic estate. Following the 2013 harvest, Noël Ramonet devoted himself to working his own plots, the grapes from which were then vinified by his brother Jean-Claude. The wine-growing partnership Domaine Noël Ramonet et Fils was established on 12 September 2013. In 2023, Michael and Pierre-François Ramonet, Noël’s sons, took over 2.2 hectares of the 9 hectares then under cultivation in this branch of the family and began producing their own wines under the name Domaine Noël Ramonet & Fils. The 2023 vintage is therefore the first to be marketed under this name. Since 30 September 2024, Angélique Pansin Ramonet, Michael Ramonet and Pierre-François Ramonet have been the managers of the SCEA, replacing Noël Ramonet.

Histoire de la parcelle
The Saint-Aubin appellation was recognized in 1937; the INAO now lists En Remilly among its Premier Cru classified climats. The Saint-Aubin valley already constituted a communication route before the year 1000, and fine wine production is considered likely in the Middle Ages on the slopes near Gamay, although a distinct history specific to En Remilly is not precisely established by the sources consulted.
