The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet is a village-appellation Burgundy red wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir. This cuvée comes from two plots, La Burie and Les Crais, located at the foot of the slope on limestone and marl soils. The vines, planted between 1960 and 1986, cover 0.52 hectares. Vinification involves total destemming, cold pre-fermentation maceration, and native yeasts, followed by one year of barrel aging—30% in new oak—concluded by a six-month blending period in tank.
