Le Domaine Camus Père et Fils Charmes-Chambertin 1982 is a red Burgundy wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, produced in the Charmes-Chambertin climat, a Grand Cru of Gevrey-Chambertin. This cuvée comes from a vineyard situated in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, on a slope enjoying a sunrise exposure and sheltered from morning mists. The soils of Charmes-Chambertin, stonier and often deeper than those of neighboring Chambertin, contribute to the cru's identity. The production area of Charmes-Chambertin is shared with that of Mazoyères-Chambertin, even though the former designation is customarily claimed. An aged grand cru to be appreciated with special attention given to the storage conditions of each bottle.
