Fritz Haag
Located in Brauneberg, in the heart of the Middle Mosel, Fritz Haag is a family estate dedicated exclusively to Riesling. Managed by Oliver Haag, it farms parcels in the steep Devonian slate slopes of Brauneberger Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr, where gradients can reach approximately 80%. The estate produces both dry wines and Prädikat Rieslings, including Spätlese and Auslese.

Histoire du domaine
The estate was first mentioned in a document in 1605, when Brauneberg was still called Dusemond. The municipality adopted its current name in 1925 to better highlight the renown of the Brauneberger Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr vineyards; the estate preserves this heritage in its name with the designation "Dusemonder Hof". Born in 1937, Wilhelm Haag began vinifying at the family estate in 1957 following the illness of his father Fritz. He subsequently ran the property for several decades, served as president from 1984 to 2004 of the Großer Ring—now VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer—and in 1994 became the first recipient of the "Winzer des Jahres" title awarded by the Wein-Gault Millau guide. In 2005, he handed over management to his son Oliver Haag, who has since managed the estate alongside his wife Jessica and personally oversees vinification.
