Bruyere-Houillon Arbois-Pupillin En Aspis Ploussard 2018 Bottle (75cl)
Bruyère-Houillon En Aspis Ploussard 2018 is a red wine from the Jura produced by Domaine Adeline Houillon and Renaud Bruyère in the Arbois appellation. This Ploussard cuvée comes from the lieu-dit En Aspis in Pupillin, from vines planted in 2015. The estate farms this vineyard organically with biodynamic practices. For this vintage, the grapes were vinified whole-cluster with a maceration of approximately thirty days, followed by ageing in stainless steel vats and bottling without fining or filtration.

Histoire du domaine
Renaud Bruyère and Adeline Houillon established their estate in 2011, starting with 75 ares of vineyards. Prior to setting up the estate, Adeline Houillon worked with Pierre Overnoy, whilst Renaud Bruyère trained at the Stéphane Tissot estate in Arbois. Adeline is the sister of Emmanuel Houillon, who took over the Pierre Overnoy estate. The Bruyère-Houillon estate’s first vintage dates from 2011. Renaud Bruyère left the Tissot estate in 2015 to devote himself entirely to his own estate. That same year, the couple were able to make use of a neighbouring disused cellar, which increased their ageing capacity. Through successive acquisitions of plots, the vineyard has grown to five hectares, spread across Arbois, Pupillin and Montigny-lès-Arsures. The estate cultivates its vines using non-certified organic farming methods and following biodynamic practices; Renaud Bruyère and Adeline Houillon make wine together in their cellar, without additives, fining or filtration, according to information published by their distributors.
