Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape La Crau Blanc 2011 Bottle (75cl)
The 2011 Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau Blanc is a Rhône Valley white wine produced by Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. This La Crau cuvée expresses the 2011 vintage in an initially subtle profile, marked by white flowers. The palate combines zesty freshness, a creamy and ample texture, with an airy, mineral structure. The estate presented this 2011 as a deep and elegant white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Histoire du domaine
The history of the Brunier family in the La Crau area began in 1891, when Henri Brunier acquired land to the east of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for his son Hippolyte. The first vineyards were planted on this land – which was then largely wooded and stony – at the end of the 19th century. Jules Brunier, Hippolyte’s son, subsequently expanded the vineyard and named the estate Vieux Télégraphe, in reference to an old optical telegraph tower located nearby. The next generation, led by Henri Brunier, gradually expanded the estate to 55 hectares in a single block and helped to establish its winemaking identity. In the early 1980s, his sons Frédéric and Daniel Brunier took over the family business together. At the same time, they expanded the family’s vineyards in the southern Rhône and, in 1998, joined forces with Kermit Lynch to take over the Les Pallières estate in Gigondas. Nicolas Brunier, Frédéric’s son, joined the business in 2015, followed by Édouard Brunier, Daniel’s son, in 2016; Manon Brunier joined them in 2018. The sixth generation, comprising Nicolas, Édouard and Manon Brunier, now runs the estate, whilst Daniel and Frédéric Brunier act as advisers.
