Histoire du domaine
Domaine Sigaut stems from a family originally from Morey-Saint-Denis, and its history dates back to the early 19th century. The Sigaut family now represents the fifth generation to cultivate the vines. In the early 1950s, Maurice Sigaut carried out the estate’s first bottlings, notably a Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru ‘Les Sentiers’. In 1977, his son Hervé took over the vineyards from his grandmother Andrée and established an initial 5-hectare estate, before later taking over his father’s vineyards. Anne, then working as an interior designer and upholsterer in Nancy, took part in her first grape harvest at the estate in 1984. The estate expanded its presence in the Côte de Beaune in 1994 with the acquisition of a plot in Puligny-Montrachet. Anne Sigaut produced her first vintage in 2004. When Hervé Sigaut officially retired in 2008, she took over the management of the estate and assumed responsibility for winemaking. The vineyard now covers 7 hectares in Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Puligny-Montrachet.
Les Bussieres
Les Bussières is a classified climat and lieu-dit located at the northern extremity of Chambolle-Musigny, bordering Morey-Saint-Denis and situated below the Premier Cru Les Sentiers. The BIVB classifies it among Village-level lieux-dits, and not among the climats authorized to bear the Premier Cru designation; the Premier Cru classification provided in the context likely results from confusion with La Bussière in Morey-Saint-Denis. Its published cadastral surface area is approximately 4.10 hectares, independently of the surface areas held by individual estates. The subsoil is locally described as hard rock of Oligocene age.

Histoire de la parcelle
The name appears as a cadastral lieu-dit and individualized climat of Chambolle-Musigny. The Chambolle-Musigny AOC was recognized in 1936, while the regulatory list of Premier Cru climats was established in 1943; Les Bussières does not belong to this list and remains a lieu-dit claimable at the Village level. No earlier specific history precisely attributable to this single climat alone has been verified.
