Champagne Jacques Selosse Caisse Collection Lieux Dits 6 Bottles, disgorged 2013 Bottle (75cl)
The Caisse Collection Lieux-Dits by Jacques Selosse brings together six non-vintaged parcel-based Champagnes from Champagne, disgorged in 2013. This assortment compares the cuvées Chemin de Châlons, Les Chantereines, Le Bout du Clos, Les Carelles, La Côte Faron, and Sous le Mont, each originating from a distinct lieu-dit and village. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this collection expresses the estate's parcel-specific reading through complementary origins in the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley.

Histoire du domaine
Jacques Selosse moved to Avize in 1947, although he did not come from a family of winegrowers. He founded the estate with his wife in 1949, starting with just a few plots of vines. During his early years, he mainly sold his grapes to wine merchants. Experiments in winemaking with a view to producing his own champagne began in 1959. The estate’s first winemaking took place in 1964, yielding 2,500 bottles. Anselme Selosse joined the estate in 1974 after training in Beaune, and took over its management in 1980. Under his leadership, the estate developed a viticultural approach based first on organic farming from 1990, then biodynamics from 1996, and finally an approach inspired by permaculture from 2002. He also introduced the practice of vinifying and maturing wine from individual plots in barrels. Guillaume Selosse joined his father at the estate in 2012 and has been in charge since 2018. The vineyard now covers 8.3 hectares, spread across 54 plots, mainly classified as grands crus.
