Histoire du domaine
Henry-Frédéric Roch founded Domaine Prieuré Roch in 1988. He gradually developed the vineyard using cultivation and winemaking methods that avoid synthetic products. Shortly after the estate was founded, he acquired the Clos Goillotte, a 0.55-hectare plot situated in Vosne-Romanée. The estate now comprises around 20 hectares of vineyards spread across Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Ladoix and Savigny-lès-Beaune. Yannick Champ met Henry-Frédéric Roch in 2002, before joining the estate as cellar master in 2005. He became estate manager in 2008 and co-manager in 2010. Following the death of Henry-Frédéric Roch in November 2018, Yannick Champ took over the management of the estate. Antonio Quari is designated by the estate as head winemaker, responsible for overseeing winemaking and ageing. The business is currently owned by Financière Henry R. and Chrystelle Roch, whilst Yannick Champ also serves as managing director.
Le Clos Goillotte
Le Clos Goillotte is a small, roughly square vineyard walled enclosure located in the center of the village of Vosne-Romanée, in front of the former wine cellars of the Prince de Conti and the residence known as La Goillotte. It constitutes a monopole and produces a red wine under the Vosne-Romanée appellation at the Village level. The estate indicates that this climat was not recorded when the appellation was established in 1936, which explains its atypical location among the named terroirs of Vosne-Romanée.

Histoire de la parcelle
The site is located in front of the former wine cellars of the Prince de Conti, associated with the Domaine de La Goillotte, which was converted into a bourgeois residence in 1820. Professional records based on the old cadastral survey indicate that the vineyard covered a larger area at the beginning of the 19th century, which was subsequently reduced by the expansion of the village. Long reserved for the family consumption of the estate and not registered as a climat when the appellation was created in 1936, the clos was acquired by Henry-Frédéric Roch in 1988, from which date its wine has been commercialized under the name Clos Goillotte.
