Histoire du domaine
The Domaine de Pajot is situated in the hamlet of Le Pajot, in Eauze, in the Gers. In the 1970s, Edmond Barreau, a farmer originally from northern France, acquired the land with the aim of establishing a vineyard dedicated to the production of Armagnac. He entrusted the development of the estate’s vineyards to his son Jean. Damien Barreau, Jean’s son and Edmond’s grandson, subsequently took over the estate. Under his leadership, the vineyard was converted to organic farming in 2001. Today, the estate produces Gascogne wines, Floc de Gascogne and Armagnac. Clément Barreau has taken over the estate with his wife Sarah; they are the estate’s legal representatives.
