Histoire du domaine
Château Lafleur was founded in 1872, when Henri Greloud, an ancestor of Baptiste Guinaudeau, acquired a plot of approximately 4.58 hectares on the Pomerol plateau. In the early 20th century, his son-in-law André Robin left a lasting mark on the estate and, in particular, undertook the replanting of the vineyard in the 1920s, ensuring that Bouchet, the local Cabernet Franc, retained a prominent place. His daughters, Thérèse and Marie Robin, subsequently inherited Lafleur and managed the estate for several decades. Following Thérèse’s death, Jacques and Sylvie Guinaudeau took over the estate on a leasehold basis in 1985. They created ‘Les Pensées de Lafleur’ in 1987 from a specific section of the vineyard. Julie and Baptiste Guinaudeau joined the estate in 2000, and the Guinaudeau family became its owners in 2002. Baptiste and Julie Guinaudeau now run the family estate, with Omri Ram as technical director. In August 2025, the family announced that it would no longer claim the Pomerol and Bordeaux appellations from the 2025 harvest onwards; the wines of the Société Agricole de Lafleur have since been classified as Vin de France.
