Histoire du domaine
La Rose Pauillac was founded in 1933 by around thirty small Pauillac landowners who decided to pool their winemaking resources in the face of the economic difficulties of the time. The first cooperative winery created in Aquitaine and today the only structure of its type in the Pauillac appellation, it has helped maintain independent viticulture within a territory largely occupied by grands crus classés. The cooperative developed during the 1960s by welcoming new small farms, often passed down to subsequent generations. It now brings together small parcels representing approximately 23 hectares and produces three Pauillac cuvées, including Château La Rose Pauillac, marketed directly by the winery and, for certain markets, with the support of the Union des Caves du Médoc.
