Histoire du domaine
Winegrowing has a long history in Langlade: the archives of the Gard department mention vineyards in the commune as early as 936. The local vineyard underwent significant expansion in the 19th century, before being destroyed by phylloxera from 1878 onwards and then gradually replanted. Rémy Pédréno initially worked as a computer engineer between 1990 and 1998. At the same time, he gained his first experience in winemaking at Clos de la Belle, from 1996 to 2005. In 1999, with the support of René Rostaing in acquiring plots of land, he established the Roc d’Anglade estate in Langlade. Martine Guillem Pédréno joined the estate in 2001 as co-manager and plays a part in both winemaking and blending. The range of red and white grape varieties was expanded in 2002. The estate now cultivates 12 hectares and practises organic viticulture, with grapes harvested by hand. In 2026, Théo Baillet held the positions of vineyard manager and cellar master there.
