Histoire du domaine
La Mauriane was created in 1997 by Pierre Taïx when he took over the family estate. It is not an independent estate, but a selection of parcels from Château Rigaud, owned by the Taïx family since the 19th century. Pierre Taïx, who had previously pursued a career in finance, steered the vineyard toward organic viticulture and a low-intervention approach. The word mark "LA MAURIANE" was registered with the INPI in his name on November 15, 2021, for the wine category.
