Hubert Lamy-Puligny Montrachet- Les Tremblots 2023 Bottle (75cl)
Domaine Hubert Lamy presents the 2023 Puligny-Montrachet white, sourced from the Les Tremblots parcel, classified as a Burgundy 1er Cru. This 100% Chardonnay wine combines vines mostly planted between 1970 and 1975 with younger high-density plantings. The Wine Advocate awards it 91/100 and recommends drinking from 2028 to 2047. The critic describes a taut, medium-bodied wine with notes of white flowers, pear, orange oil, and white peach, driven by vibrant acidity and a saline finish.

Histoire du domaine
The Lamy family has been established in the Saint-Aubin vineyards since 1640. Hubert Lamy founded the estate under his own name in 1973. In the 1990s, the estate expanded through the purchase, lease and planting of new plots. Some of the vines were then replanted with Chardonnay in areas considered more favourable to this grape variety. Olivier Lamy joined the family estate in 1995, after studying oenology and gaining experience at other estates. He now runs the estate with his wife Karine, who is responsible for management, marketing and accounts. The vineyard now covers 18.5 hectares, mainly in Saint-Aubin, with plots also located in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. Olivier Lamy oversees the vineyard work and winemaking, with each plot being vinified and then matured separately. Both the white and red wines are bottled after 24 months’ ageing, depending on the estate’s website.
