Histoire du domaine
The presence of the Glantenay family in the vineyards of Volnay has been documented for over four centuries. Thierry's grandfather significantly expanded the estate, notably through the acquisition of vines in Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet. After studies and an initial career in chemistry, Thierry Glantenay returned to the family estate in 2005 to assist his father Bernard, before taking over the management. He developed the bottling and commercialization of a production that was previously largely sold to wine merchants. Thierry is officially the manager of the estate and oversees the vinification and aging choices of the domain.
