Domaine Ganevat
Located in La Combe de Rotalier, Domaine Ganevat farms a fragmented Jura vineyard spread across several lieux-dits, notably En Billat, Les Grands Teppes, and Les Chalasses. Jean-François Ganevat has developed a deeply detailed, plot-by-plot approach to Chardonnay, Savagnin, and the red grape varieties of the Jura, practicing committed biodynamic viticulture since 2005. Jocelyn Broncard, cellar master since 2021, now ensures the continuity of vinification alongside Jean-François Ganevat.

Histoire du domaine
The Ganevat family's winemaking presence in the Jura dates back to the 17th century. After working with his father, and then for nine years at Domaine Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, Jean-François Ganevat took over the family estate in 1998. He progressively developed a highly parcel-specific production, revived several ancient grape varieties, and adopted biodynamic principles starting in 2005. In 2021, wishing to organize the transition of the estate, Jean-François Ganevat sold the vineyards, the name, and the trading activity to investor Alexander Pumpyansky, while remaining involved alongside his sister Anne; oenologist Jocelyn Broncard then joined the estate as cellar master and anticipated technical successor. Following the disruptions linked to the sanctions resulting from the invasion of Ukraine, ownership passed in 2023 to Benoît Pontenier and Jocelyn Broncard. Jean-François Ganevat remains active in the decisions and work of the estate, while Jocelyn Broncard gradually takes over the management of the cellar.
