The 2006 Ferraton Père et Fils Crozes-Hermitage Le Grand Courtil is a red wine from the Rhône Valley crafted from Syrah. This single-vineyard cuvée comes from the historic lieu-dit Le Grand Courtil, located at the transition between Mercurol and Chanos-Curson within the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. The grapes came from vines that were 30 to 35 years old at the time. The 2006 vintage is distinguished by licorice and violet notes, supported by a core of cherry and a lingering peppery finish.
