The 2010 Domaine Robert Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses is a red Burgundy wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, coming from the Les Amoureuses climat in Chambolle-Musigny. This Premier Cru comes from a parcel with a thin layer of clay over very compact limestone, a geological setting specific to this climat. Wine Spectator awarded it 92/100 and suggested drinking it between 2016 and 2025; The Wine Advocate scored it 90/100, with a drinking window from 2017 to 2028. Critics describe a profile of ripe red fruits, cherry and wild berries, complemented by smoky, mineral and earthy nuances, driven by a lively structure, grainy tannins and a persistent finish.
