Domaine Jean Marc Roulot Bourgogne Blanc 2023 Bouteille (75cl)
The 2023 Domaine Jean-Marc Roulot Bourgogne Blanc is a white Burgundy wine made from Chardonnay. This cuvée blends grapes originating in equal parts from Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. The Bourgogne Blanc vines, aged 30 to 40 years, are organically farmed. Following aging on the lees, the wine spends time in both oak barrels and stainless steel vats, an approach that combines the precision of Chardonnay with the preservation of its freshness.

Histoire du domaine
The Roulot family has been based in Meursault since the late 18th century. The estate, in its modern form, developed primarily from the 1950s onwards under the leadership of Guy Roulot, born in 1929. His marriage to Geneviève Coche coincided with the expansion of the family’s wine-growing estate. Guy Roulot played a key role in promoting the separate bottling of wines from several ‘lieux-dits’ in Meursault. Following his death in 1982, the estate was temporarily managed by a succession of winemakers. His son Jean-Marc Roulot, who was then pursuing a career as an actor in Paris, finally took over the estate in January 1989. He continued to expand the vineyard and converted the vines to organic farming from 1999 onwards. The estate is now run by Jean-Marc Roulot, with Éric Bodin as cellar master and head of winemaking at his side.
