Domaine Comte De Vogue Bourgogne Blanc 2002 Bouteille (75cl)
The 2002 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Bourgogne Blanc is a white Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Comte de Vogüé from 100% Chardonnay. This cuvée comes from Chardonnay plantings in the Musigny vineyard: at that time, the youth of the vines led the estate to market them under the Bourgogne appellation rather than Musigny Blanc.

Histoire du domaine
The origins of Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé date back to 1450, when the estate’s historic building was established in Chambolle-Musigny. The property has remained in the same family throughout the centuries, including during the French Revolution. The name Vogüé became associated with the estate in 1766, following the marriage of Catherine Bouhier de Versalieu to Cerice François Melchior de Vogüé. In 1925, Count Georges de Vogüé inherited the vineyards from his father, Count Arthur de Vogüé, and gave the estate his name. He managed the estate for over fifty years. His granddaughters, Claire de Causans and Marie de Ladoucette, inherited the vineyards from their mother in 2002 and are the current owners. François Millet was responsible for winemaking from 1986 to 2021. Jean Lupatelli succeeded him in spring 2021 as winemaker and cellar master; his responsibilities were subsequently expanded to include the estate’s operational and commercial management. The estate’s vineyard comprises, in particular, 7.12 hectares in Musigny and 2.66 hectares in Bonnes-Mares.
