Château Rauzan Segla 1989 Impériale (600cl) ELA
Château Rauzan Segla 1989 is a red wine from the Margaux appellation, classified as a 2ème Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it comes from one of the great historical estates of Bordeaux's Left Bank. The Wine Advocate awarded it 90/100 and suggested a drinking window of 2003 to 2012. The publication highlights the wine's favorable evolution in bottle, featuring a medium to full-bodied palate, silky tannins and a persistent finish; Jancis Robinson notes a fresh yet relatively slender profile, with limited tertiary complexity in the tasted bottle.
