Histoire du domaine
The first documented records of Château Petit-Village date back to 1785. The vineyard, a single, triangular plot, now covers 10.5 hectares on the Pomerol plateau. In 1919, the estate was acquired by the Bordeaux wine merchant Fernand Ginestet. During the 1970s, under the guidance of Bruno Prats, the vineyard was restructured, with greater emphasis placed on Merlot. The château was acquired by AXA Millésimes in 1989. Stéphane Derenoncourt has acted as a consultant to the estate since the 2006 vintage. The Moulin family bought Château Petit-Village in 2020. Guillaume Fredoux, technical director, has been in charge of the estate’s technical management since the 2020 vintage.
