Histoire du domaine
Château Lafleur-Gazin is situated in Pomerol, on the northern edge of the plateau, between the Gazin and La Fleur-Pétrus estates. The Borderie family owned the estate from 1930 onwards. Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix has managed its operations since 1976. Vineyard management and winemaking have thus been integrated into the technical organisation of the Moueix estate’s properties. In 2021, the Moueix family acquired the château, which has become one of its wholly-owned properties. The vineyard now covers 8.5 hectares and is planted entirely with Merlot. Within the Moueix family’s portfolio of estates, Laurent Descos serves as cellar master for the estates.
