Histoire du domaine
The estate takes its name from the lieu-dit La Grâce Dieu des Prieurs, a designation recorded by the property since 1859. According to the château's historical account, a hospice once occupied the site, welcoming men in the 12th and 13th centuries who came seeking care and protection. Long owned by the Laubie family, the estate was acquired in 2013 by businessman and patron Andrei Filatov — some professional sources date the transaction to 2014. Founder of the Art Russe Foundation in 2012, he initiated a project uniting viticulture and Russian art, with the 2014 vintage being its first emblematic release. Architect Jean Nouvel was commissioned to restructure the property: he designed a cylindrical gravity-fed fermentation room and modernized the cellars while preserving the historical layout of the buildings. Estate management has been entrusted to Laurent Prosperi, in office since 2013, while Louis Mitjavile acts as winemaking consultant. The labels reproduce works from the Art Russe collection, giving each vintage a distinct artistic identity.
