Histoire du domaine
Château La Fleur de Boüard is situated in Néac, within the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. Prior to its acquisition, the estate’s land belonged to a postman who cultivated the vines there. In 1998, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest purchased a 25-hectare vineyard and established Château La Fleur de Boüard. The estate subsequently expanded to 29 hectares. Its vineyard is situated on two types of soil: clay over a gravel subsoil on the Néac plateau, and gravel containing a proportion of clay. In 2022, Hubert de Boüard joined forces with new co-owners; Emmanuel Teillet then joined the estate and took charge of operations. Bryan Dessaint, who has been responsible for the estate’s winemaking since 2022, has held the post of technical director since 2023. Kinga Hars, formerly of Château Angélus, serves as cellar master.
