Histoire du domaine
Château Feytit-Clinet is a wine estate in Pomerol whose vineyards were long managed under a lease by the Jean-Pierre Moueix group. Part of the estate was owned by Michel-Jack Chasseuil following an inheritance in the 1980s, whilst the other part belonged to the City of Bordeaux. The Chasseuil family gradually consolidated ownership of the estate in the late 1990s. Jérémy Chasseuil took over the management of the estate in 2000. Trained in oenology and having worked at Château La Dominique in Saint-Émilion, he has since been in charge of vineyard management and winemaking. The vineyard, comprising a single block, is planted with 90 per cent Merlot and 10 per cent Cabernet Franc. The grapes are harvested by hand and the estate does not report any purchases of grapes.
