The Louis Jadot – Château des Jacques Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès 2009 is a Beaujolais red wine made from Gamay. This single-vineyard cuvée comes from a high, south-east-facing hillside with pink granite and quartz soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, followed by slow maceration before a ten-month aging period in oak barrels. The estate lists the 2009 vintage among the years that are drinking with great pleasure today.

The site occupies a mid-slope position and rests on a granitic substrate crossed by a quartz vein. Available descriptions also note the presence of clay and manganese in the soil. La Roche does not hold an official parcel classification distinct from the Moulin-à-Vent AOC.
