Domaine Ramonet Bourgogne Rouge 2023 Bouteille (75cl)
The 2023 Domaine Ramonet Bourgogne Rouge is a red Burgundy wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir by Domaine Ramonet. This regional cuvée comes from plots with predominantly southeast exposures, on soils where limestone and marl dominate. The estate describes its Bourgogne Rouge as a wine that prioritizes fresh fruit and balance. The 2023 vintage, warm and abundant in Burgundy, produced Pinot Noirs with spicy dark fruits according to the estate.

Histoire du domaine
Domaine Ramonet was founded in Chassagne-Montrachet by Pierre Ramonet in the late 1920s. In the early days, Pierre Ramonet bought grapes, vinified them and then sold the wines. He gradually acquired plots of land around Chassagne-Montrachet; part of the Ruchottes came under the estate’s ownership in 1934. His son André continued to develop the family business. Pierre’s grandsons, Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet, subsequently became involved in the estate’s operations and ensured its continuity. After the 2013 harvest, Noël Ramonet withdrew from day-to-day operations to tend his own vines and supply his grapes to Jean-Claude Ramonet. Jean-Claude Ramonet has since taken charge of winemaking and marketing under his own name, whilst maintaining the estate’s established practices. SCEA Domaine Ramonet remains active in Chassagne-Montrachet; its partners include the family-run businesses of Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet, whilst Jean-Claude Ramonet is the managing director. Since 2024, Pierre-François and Michaël Ramonet have also been managing directors of this company.
