Domaine Clos Naudin (Foreau) Moelleux 2021 Bouteille (75cl)
Le Domaine Clos Naudin (Foreau) Moelleux 2021 is a sweet white Vouvray from the Loire Valley, crafted by Domaine Clos Naudin from Chenin Blanc. The estate's vines are located in the northeast of the Vouvray appellation, notably around the lieux-dits Les Perruches and Les Ruettes. The moelleux cuvées are produced here only when the grapes naturally reach high maturity. Harvesting is done by hand with successive selective pickings (tries), followed by fermentation in barrels.

Domaine Clos Naudin
The Clos Naudin estate, also known as Foreau, is a family-run property situated in Vouvray, in Touraine. Run by Vincent Foreau, it cultivates 12 hectares of Chenin Blanc, mainly on the appellation’s ‘premières côtes’, on flint-clay soils resting on tuffeau limestone. The estate produces still Vouvray wines – dry, semi-dry and sweet – as well as sparkling wines.

Histoire du domaine
The history of Clos Naudin has been linked to the Foreau family in Vouvray since the early 20th century. Armand Foreau began digging the estate’s cellars by hand in 1910; this work continued until 1970. He gradually expanded the vineyard, which reached 18 hectares by 1969, and was one of the Vouvray winegrowers who bottled their own wines. Part of the vineyard subsequently ceased to form part of the estate’s direct holdings following a succession in favour of Armand’s daughter, the wife of Gaston Huet. His son, André Foreau, rebuilt the vineyard by purchasing plots and ran the estate from 1969 to 1982. Philippe Foreau succeeded him and produced his first vintage in 1983. Vincent Foreau joined the estate in 2007, before taking over its management. The vineyard is now certified organic and covers 12 hectares planted with Chenin Blanc.
