Californie Napa Valley Opus One 1983 Bouteille (75cl) CLA
Opus One 1983 is a red wine from Napa Valley, California, produced jointly by Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild. This cuvée brings together Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The vintage experienced August rains followed by a dry, windy September; the small yield produced a wine described by the estate as balanced, concentrated, and profound. Maceration lasted 16 days, followed by 23 months of aging in new French oak barrels. The profile combines notes of cedar, cassis, and mint.
